Data we collect

Newsletter: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is stored in our Firebase database and used solely to send you updates about ACI Metrics features and AI collaboration best practices.

Contact form: When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, and message. This data is stored in our Firebase database and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

ACI reports: If you submit your transcript data for ACI scoring and verification, we collect the information you provide. This data is used solely to generate your ACI score and report. We store your verified report data to enable score verification via Report-ID.

Transcript data

When you run the ACI scoring script locally, your data stays on your machine. If you choose to submit for verified scoring, the transcript data is transmitted securely and processed to generate your report. We retain only the metrics and scores necessary for verification — not the raw transcript content.

Automatic data

Our web host (Firebase) automatically collects basic log data (such as IP addresses and browser type) to ensure the site stays secure and functional. We do not access or analyze this data.

Third-party services

This site uses the following third-party services, which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

Firebase — This site is hosted on Firebase (a Google service). Contact form submissions and report data are stored in our Firebase database. Firebase Privacy Policy.

AI processing — Anonymized transcript data (with secrets automatically removed) is sent to a third-party AI service for analysis. This data is processed but not stored by the AI provider.

Data retention

Newsletter: We retain your email address until you unsubscribe. To unsubscribe, contact us and we'll remove your email promptly.

Contact submissions: We retain contact form data until your inquiry is resolved, then delete it within 90 days unless ongoing communication is needed.

ACI reports: Verified ACI reports are retained indefinitely to enable ongoing score verification. You may request deletion of your report data by contacting us with your Report-ID.

Benchmarking: Your score is compared against our standard population. Anonymized metrics from verified reports may also be used for aggregate benchmarking and research. This data cannot be traced back to individuals.

Your rights

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. Contact us and we'll help.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of the site means you accept any changes.
